About Us
Dr. Michelle Waller, B.Sc., M.D., FRCPC
As a long-time Prince George resident of over 30 years, I have established deep personal and professional roots within the community. My local educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNBC, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from UBC’s Northern Medical Program. I then pursued my specialty training in psychiatry through UBC’s Psychiatry Residency Program in the Prince George Track.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and currently practice as a psychiatrist in Prince George. My clinical work is focused on providing care to adolescent youth, where I work in collaboration with youth mental health agencies, the Regional Eating Disorders Clinic, and with the Northern Health Assessment Network (NHAN).
About Us
In the spring of 2024, I obtained the designation of Qualified Specialist (QS) from the BC Autism Assessment Network (BCAAN). Since then, I have been providing diagnostic assessments for autism through NHAN.
As a locally trained physician, I am passionate about medical education and supporting the training the next generation of physicians. I am actively involved in the teaching of medical students and psychiatry residents, and outside of clinical care, I have taken on additional leadership roles within the UBC Psychiatry Residency Program.
